Avoid events involving alcohol

This is the most simple solution. If you know there is going to be alcohol, avoid that event. Before you go to party, you can ask if there will be non-alcohol drinks.

Be blunt and honest

You can tell your friends honestly "I don't want to drink because alcohol can mess up my health". Or you can say "Alcohol can react with my medication".

Surround yourself with understanding friends

Good friends understand you. Good friends will never pressure you. Don't go alone to drinking events. Have a friend with you who supports your plans to drink less.

Drink mocktails

You can fake drinking with a mocktail.
